Tobia & Afra Scarpa Africa Table

Designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Maxalto in 1975, the Africa—also known as the Artona—table was part of the brand's inaugural furniture collection. Crafted from richly figured walnut with distinctive ebonised inlay details, the design highlights the Scarpas' mastery of material and proportion. The sculptural square pedestal base, finished with subtle brass edging, lends the piece a strong architectural presence while maintaining an elegant silhouette.
